HTX LIT is a literary magazine displaying the work of the students in HCC’s Intro to Creative Writing class. Our purpose is to inspire wannabe writers and to give inspiration to those who already write. This is a safe space for all genres of writing with a focus on fiction and poetry. We promote individuality among each piece of writing. HTX LIT has a goal of displaying work from writers of all ages, nationalities, and genders and to give a platform to a multitude of people. Founded and brought to life by a group of hard-working creative writing students, HTX LIT published its first issue on May 15, 2020. This is the second issue that features the writing of the creative writing students of the fall 2020 class. We hope the magazine will continue publishing the creative work of future students.
