Bright sun beams break through trees over a field of grass covered in frost.

Her eyes were like Amber of the sun

Flames that warmed you with every touch

The fire that blazed from her once lit every darkened corner within my shadows

A beauty made by the creator, diligently

Yet even the creator could not sense the devil lurking beneath.

Her Amber, golden eyes soon turned into pitch black holes

And the arms that once warmed me drew the last breath from my lungs

The mere heat burned scars into my soul

In her lips drew poison and every touch drew winter.

The place I once called home now drifted into the sea, too dangerous to travel

Like a fist to a mirror, shattered and lost

My dreams of what once was, like ice turned to frost

Melting away through the fingers that once intertwined with hers

What once was gold no longer shimmered

And our love turned to hate even quicker

What once was luxury to one another became a disaster altogether.
