Courtney O'Banion Smith earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University-San Marcos. Her work has appeared in several print and online publications including Relief, The Ocotillo Review, and Barren Magazine. She teaches writing at Houston Community College and is the faculty advisor for the HCC Katy Creative Writing Club.
